A condo master-policy approach that insures the building including standard unit interiors, reducing what owners must cover.
"All-in" (or all-inclusive) is a condo master policy that covers the building structure and the original, standard interior of each unit — fixtures, cabinetry, and finishes as originally built — leaving owners responsible mainly for personal property, upgrades, and liability.
It generally means higher association premiums but simpler, smaller owner policies. Because coverage boundaries drive who pays for what after a loss, boards and owners should confirm exactly which approach the master policy uses.
